Did you know that you can increase your leads from Facebook by adding an appointment ‘Book Now’ button to your page?
Make it easy for people to enquire about your services by allowing them to easily book an appointment to speak with you.
Here’s what that button looks like to your Facebook Page visitors:
Once someone clicks this button, they’re taken to a page on Facebook that displays a list of your services – the visitor then clicks the service they’re enquiring about:
Once they select one of the available services, they’ll see the following page:
The visitor will need to tell you their availability and they’ll be asked to leave any other relevant information. This information then gets sent to your page in a message and you can continue communicating via messenger to book the potential customer in for an appointment. Easy peasy!
How do I add a ‘Book Now’ appointment button to my Facebook Page?
1. Go to your Business Facebook Page
locate your current button/Call to action and click edit. You’ll be taken to a screen that looks similar to the screen shot below.
2. Select your button
Choose the top option which is ‘Book with you’.
You’ll now see a screen that looks similar to the below screen shot:
3. Choose how your customers will book their appointment
Facebook Appointments can integrate with a number of different appointment software. So, if you already use something like HomeAdvisor, MyTime, Microsoft Bookings or Booker you can connect your appointment system up quite easily at this stage.
You are also given the option to link to a website address – this is very handy if your website is linked up to an appointment/booking system. Type in the website URL of your booking page and send people from your Facebook Page to your website’s booking page.
If you don’t use a booking system, select ‘Appointments on Facebook’. This option allows you and your customer to organise the appointment over Facebook Messenger.
4. Turn followers into customers
If you choose to use Facebook Messenger to manage your bookings manually, you’ll be met with the below screen. Click next:
5. Add Services
Here’s where you’ll need to add a service that your customer can book.
For example, if you own a hairdressing business you’ll add services such as ‘Mens Cut’, ‘Cut & Colour’, ‘Wash & Dry’ etc. Add the services that are available for your customers to book.
6. Click done, then on the final screen click finish.
You’re all set! Customers will now be encouraged to book an appointment directly on your Facebook page – don’t forget that if you chose the ‘Appointments on Facebook’ option in step 2 you’ll have to chat to your customers on messenger and liaise with them to find an appointment date.
Link up your website’s booking URL with this Call to Action and you can automate the process – increasing your conversion rates.
